  Adult faith formation requires a unique approach, so that it can address the needs of those who are new to the Catholic faith as well as those Catholics who are seeking to deepen their faith. Offering group classes for community based learning and independent opportunities to fit crazy work/life schedules.
  Below are several resources for both new and current Catholic Adults. If you have questions about these resources or classes that might be a good fit for you in your Faith journey please contact the Parish office at 850-893-1837.

  We invite you to ask questions, learn what the Church teaches, and discover the beauty of our faith—wherever you are on your journey.
  The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is a journey of learning, prayer, reflection, and community for adults considering becoming Catholic or completing their Sacraments of Initiation - Baptism, Confirmation, and/or the Eucharist (Holy Communion).

  The Pensacola-Tallahassee Diocese has also become a partnering diocese with Franciscan At Home from the University of Steubenville. This means that any adult in the diocese can take an on-line course at no cost. To become a learner go to: franciscanathome.com

  Registering for FORMED is FREE to Good Shepherd Parishioners and is easier than ever:

  Select your parish (if you type in “Good Shepherd” you will see our name/address in drop down menu)
