Building Skills. Creating Opportunity. Strengthening a Community.

Good Shepherd’s Haiti Outreach Ministry is launching a new fundraiser to establish a computer training lab at our sister parish, Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Lafond, Haiti.
Our $15,000 goal will provide 20 laptops and a solar power system, bringing practical technology training directly to the community. Designed to serve approximately 100 young people annually, the yearlong program will include Microsoft certification, with certified instructors teaching Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.

Education can offer a path out of poverty, equipping young people to earn a living with dignity, support themselves and their families, and help build stronger communities. Offering classes in Lafond will reduce costly travel and bring these opportunities closer to home. Affordable tuition will help support instructors and ongoing maintenance.

Generous donors have already contributed $5,500 toward our $15,000 goal! We are grateful for this wonderful beginning and invite you to help raise the remaining $9,500.

Together, we can provide tools and training that help young people put their talents to work.
